Mange (Galis)
Mange, or galis, is a skin condition caused by microscopic mites that burrow into or live on your dog's skin. These tiny parasites can trigger intense itching, redness, hair loss, scabs, and thickened skin. While mites are invisible to the naked eye, the damage they cause can be very noticeable. Dogs with weakened skin barriers or immune systems are often more susceptible, making early care important to prevent the condition from worsening.
